JAXA/NASA Joint Workshop:
Maximizing the Outcome of the ISS and "Kibo"

Complimentary Workshop

The Japan-U.S. Open Platform Partnership Program, a cooperative partnership scheduled through at least 2024, encourages researchers and entities from both Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and NASA to mutually utilize experiment hardware between the International Space Station (ISS) U.S. National Laboratory and the Japanese Experiment Module (JEM and also nicknamed Kibo, which means “hope” in Japanese). This JAXA/NASA Joint Workshop presents achievements and expectations of collaboration as well as Kibo’s available experiment hardware and services for potential users to maximize the outcome of “Kibo” and the ISS.
